Stanislaw Swidwinski, Co-President, Webmaster
Stasiek is a sophomore in Trumbull College from the beautiful Polish capital. He is a potential Electrical Engineering and Computer Science major and enjoys helping in Prof. Mark Reed Laboratory. Outside of academics, he has a strong passion for foreign languages and nearly every sport. At Yale he is also the Co-President of Yale Robotics Undergraduate Student Organization and works as Student Developer for Yale ITS. Stasiek hopes that together with Jacek he can continue improving Yale Polish Society at Yale while preserving the atmosphere of friendship. Jacek Oleszczuk, Co-President
Jacek, a sophomore at Yale, was born in Poland and has lived in Paris for the last eight years. Prospectively majoring in Ethics, Politics and Economics, Jacek has a passion for learning languages, creative writing and almost every sport involving water (especially diving and sailing). At Yale, apart from being the Co-President of the Polish Society, he is a dedicated member of the Yale International Relations Association and an ardent writer and business associate for The Politic, Yale’s political magazine. Aleksandra Zakrzewski, Treasurer
Aleksandra is a sophomore in Berkeley college. She grew up in Vermont, and loves the outdoors, especially cross country skiing, hiking or running. At Yale, she is studying Biology and Computer Science. Outside of academics, she is involved in Y-Hack, Ultimate Frisbee, research and the Nordic Skiing club. Olga Wroblewski, Secretary
Witam! My name is Olga Wroblewski and I am the Yale Polish Society’s secretary. Born and raised in Polonia Chicago, I am very proud of my heritage and enjoy exploring Poland’s language, history, and culture. I am excited for another year of adventures and learning with fellow society members. Outside of the society and lab work, I am also a Junior Marshall at Yale’s Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter and a Student Design Aide at the Center for Engineering, Innovation, and Design. Elizabeth Tokarz, Social Chair
Elizabeth is a sophomore in Berkeley College from the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, tentatively majoring in ecology and evolutionary biology. At Yale, Elizabeth also trains with the varsity sailing team, compiles the newsletter for St. Gianna Center in New Haven, and serves on the boards for both pro-life group Choose Life at Yale and the Federalist Party. Half-Polish, half-Mexican, Elizabeth has grown up singing both Sto lat and Las Mañanitas on birthdays and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She joined Polish Society to celebrate Polish heritage and culture with the awesome Polish and polonophile community at Yale and she looks forward to an exciting year with more communion and celebration with you.
